The CEI - Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) has supported once again this year's OberMUN titled "Touching lives together". It is the Model United Nations simulation (MUN) that is annually organised by the Trieste-based high school Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Oberdan” involving students from various countries.
The CEI-ES was represented by Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Kiràly who took part in the inaugural ceremony in Trieste on 12 April.
She opened the works of the three-day event, spoke to authorities and students.
In her welcome speech she confirmed that the CEI strongly believed in the Obermun project. She said that this initiative brought young people closer to the institutions and contributed to engage them in important issues of both national and international politics. She added that this was much needed in today’s changing world as the youth were the driving force of change and key to our future.
