On 25 January authorities will gather in Rome on the occasion of the kick-off meeting of the KEP ITALY Project project “CEI support for strengthening Energy Regulatory Authorities in the Western Balkans”. On the following day, they will also take part in the project's first capacity building workshop.

Accessibility to cultural heritage cannot be taken for granted, yet. The Pompei Archaeological site has developed an itinerary "Pompei for all" (Pompei per tutti), which enables everyone to enjoy the common archaeological heritage, without barriers or exclusions. The itinerary will be presented in Pompei on 10 February 2018, under the umbrella of the Initiative "European Year of Cultural Heritage" (EYCH)".

The first meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) under the Croatian CEI Presidency 2018 is taking place in Zagreb on 16 February. Croatia will present its priorities and Calendar of Events, in particular the high-level meetings planned throughout the year. The CEI Secretariat will brief the CNC on its recent and upcoming activities.
Special attention will also be paid to the activities planned for enhancing cooperation among and between the Member States, with the EC as well as with other international institutions.
