SULPiTER project meeting (Poznan, 20-22 Feb.)
The Partners of the EU project SULPiTER (Sustainable Urban Logistics PlannIng To Enhance Regional freight transport) are meeting in Poznan, on 20-22 February in order to discuss the progress achieved over the last six months.
Namely, partners will discuss the results provided by expert analyses of the trends and scenarios of freight transport in Central Europe Functional Urban Areas (FUAs).
Following the webinar, dedicated to the sustainable urban logistic plans and sustainable urban mobility plans, held on 7 February 2017, partners will agree on the development of the joint transferable tool to understand freight transport and logistics impact on Central Europe FUAs.
SULPiTER is funded under the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and aims at supporting policy makers in improving their understanding of Functional Urban Areas freight phenomena in an energy and environmental perspective, enhancing their capacity in urban freight mobility planning in order to develop and adopt Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans as part of Sustainable Urban mobility Plans.
