CEI International Summer School (Bertinoro/Italy, 12-16 Sept.)
The 22nd edition of the CEI International Summer School is taking place in Bertinoro, Italy, on 12-16 September, and will be dedicated to the topic of human rights issues in increasingly diversified societies and related territorial questions.
Under the title “Minorities, Kin States and Territorial Cooperation”, the Summer School will explore this topic as global phenomena and discuss it in the framework of existing nation-states and the EU integration process. Special focus will be put on the CEI role in the region.
In collaboration with the Institute for Central-Eastern and Balkan Europe (IECOB) and the Europe and the Balkans International Network (EBIN), the Summer School has become a recurrent activity aimed at providing an international dialogue and cooperation platform for the young generation from the Balkans and other CEI countries in order to tackle current challenges in the region.
The programme also includes the participation in the CEI International Conference on “Breaking Down or Re-Building The Walls: Migration Crisis, Refugees and Security in Southeastern Europe”.
The CEI International Summer School is co-financed by the CEI Cooperation Fund.
