X South East Europe Media Forum (Belgrade, 21-22 Nov.)
The South East Europe Media Forum (SEEMF) is a major media event gathering editors-in-chief, leading journalists, business professionals, civil society and academia as well as representatives of relevant international organisations and state institutions. It is organised by the South East Europe Media Organisation (SEEMO) in partnership with the Media Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and the CEI.
This year’s edition will focus on "Media in Europe: Ready for crisis reporting?". Discussions will cover the media and politics in Serbia, the refugee crisis as a touch-stone for professional journalism and new trends in war reporting. A session will also be dedicated to journalism education in South East Europe.
The SEEMF programme also includes the awarding ceremony of the CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism 2016.
The SEEMF is a CEI Feature Event supported by the CEI Cooperation Fund.
